"Working together, as one, we hope to alleviate many of the community problems associated with the illegal use of alcohol and other drugs." The Ontario Substance Abuse Prevention Program (OSAPP) started in 1989 with the goal of school and community working together to battle substance abuse. This is a school-based prevention program at Ontario Local Schools in Ontario, Ohio. OSAPP works to educate our students about the dangers of substance abuse and help them develop the social skills needed to make good decisions.
OSAPP oversees several student groups that promote awareness through peer education. We also provide classroom-based education and host special events throughout the year. OSAPP is responsible for overseeing random drug testing for all student athletes and provides intervention and referral for students with substance abuse issues. |
ADIOSADIOS stands for Against Drugs in Ontario Schools. This group is for any Middle School student committed to being drug free and promoting awareness.
