Drug Free Trader Card Seniors
Drug Free Trader Card Seniors are a group of 12th graders who commit to being drug free and go to our elementary school several times throughout the year to speak to our younger students about making good choices. This peer education group gives our seniors the opportunity to share about the positive decisions they have made throughout their school experience and to help younger students learn about the importance of being drug free. The Drug Free Seniors must submit an application and essay explaining why they want to participate. They also sign an agreement pledging to remain drug free throughout their senior year. Trader Cards are made for each senior to pass out to the younger students as a reminder of the importance of making good choices. This program plays a big role in preventing drug use encouraging good decisions at Ontario Local Schools.
